The App market – specifically the tablet market – continues to get more and more complex.  Expect the following this fall:

  • Apple’s new round of iPads and iPhones hit the market in September. Expect a smaller seven inch iPad.
  • Google’s newly released Nexus 7, it’s well designed seven inch Android tablet, is selling out and is likely a game changer for the Android operating system.
  • Amazon is expected to release an updated version of it’s Kindle with more features
  • Microsoft is steps up it’s game with it’s Surface tablet and Windows 8 operating system.

With up to a 25% of smartphone owners also using a tablet, according to comScore, the tablet is emerging as a fourth screen for many Americans.
