appAttack 100 – Global Contest for the Latest & Greatest Apps
appAttack brings together innovative app developers from around the globe to highlight new and exciting applications which change the way we interact in a mobile world. After a global voting contest, we invite the top 100 app makers to show off their work in the appLounge. appAttack goes to a new level when on day 2 of the conference, a judge panel along with attendee voters determine the best of the best for appAttack 2012.
The 100 selected appAttack apps are given individual booths to be showcased at appLounge before an expected 5,000+ attendees of GMIC and appSpace, which consist of investors, industry leaders, and international media. appLounge is a venue for developers, platform owners, and GMIC participants to mingle and also discover appAttack apps in action, with a chance to exchange ideas with industry leaders and investors face to face. Apps are presented to a wide audience including executives, partners and other innovators from around the world.
Code lab sessions are hands-on workshops to help developers get a jump-start on a specific platform and / or APIs. For example, web developers who want to develop Android applications can obtain critical insights/knowledge through tutorials and code samples.
